The policeman left his patrol vehicle and gingerly walked to William’s car, observing him for some tense moments before observing his vehicle’s dashboard. This all made William feel even more disconcerted. Why was he being checked out in such a keen way? He searched his mind for any possible offenses that he may have committed in the past few hours, but he had been driving at a normal speed and had not broken any other rules of the road.

Just as William tried to breathe deeply, the officer approached his window. He was an ordinary-looking man, with deep, emotional eyes. There was something off about him, and William knew that this was no ordinary stop. What did William have that the officer wanted so badly?
