Bad Omens
George was not immediately aware of his dog’s shift in behavior, however. They had become so set in their ways that it was difficult to notice the warning signs. Eventually, George would see obvious signs that something was wrong. One day, George returned home from a long shift at work, looking forward to his jolly pooch bounding toward him to say hello. But when George walked in through the front door, he was disturbed and troubled by the sight before him.

George worriedly called for Crosby, who seemed to be disregarding him. The man walked around searching for his dog anxiously and eventually discovered Crosby staring at the living room’s wall. Why was Crosby ignoring him? Did he have some kind of hearing problem? George raised his voice, but the pooch was still deaf to his call. The owner bent down next to his pal and followed his dog’s fixed gaze at a spot in the wall. Just what had hypnotized the dog?
