The fruit is an excellent source of fiber and antioxidants, which eliminate stoppages in the gut. Supplements can alleviate inflammation, while antioxidants may combat bacterial infections. Fruits packed with Vitamin C act as fantastic antioxidants, some including oranges, apricots, bananas, blueberries. Pure fruit juices must be drunk to get concentrated vitamin boosts. If you have cystic fibrosis and struggle to eat a lot of fruit, you will need to find a new love for them!
Eat More Veg
Vegetables contain much fiber and many antioxidants, not to mention essential minerals such as calcium and essential vitamins. Try going for the leafier and darker types as they are packed with Vitamins K and A, as well as iron. Brussel sprouts, broccoli, arugula and bok choy all contain Vitamin K. These are the kinds of vegetables that those that are not partial to the darker and bitter-tasting vegetables might struggle to enjoy, which means that becoming a master chef is essential!
