Richard’s blackened emotions would urge him to even strongly consider suicide following the devastating revelations. The lethal cocktail of facing your own mortality and the fact that your family was a complete lie caused his life to unwind. Well, Richard did not exactly have everything to lose, as there was one incredibly special and dedicated person in his life that had stood by him through it all. Richard is lucky to have Emma, his current wife. She has really eased the trauma he is experiencing. Emma is unable to fall pregnant due to the effects of cancer. It was her affection for him that curbed his misery and helped him work through the distress.
