A Home Away From Home
The caravan gave them the basic shelter they were looking for, but it didn’t have any running water or electricity. What they didn’t realise when they first decided to move in was that they would be asking neighbors for the occasional shower, and to use the oven to cook a meal from time to time. This was a bigger challenge than they had envisioned initially, which put some strain on their relationship. Only time would tell whether they would be able to make it through.

Still young and easily excitable, Claire and Cal actually saw the bright side of the situation. They had gotten themselves into a bind, and were going to need to crawl their way back out of it. They rationalised that it was part of the adventure everyone calls life. With this kind of attitude, they were showing a sense of resilience beyond their years. They even went so far as to call the experience a stroke of fate.
