The First Resting Place
For the first few weeks after it had been moved, the caravan had to be parked right next to the front wall that was on the verge of collapsing. This wasn’t exactly ideal, as the truck rumbling past would shake the ground vigorously, leading to the pair holding on for dear life. A very stressful situation, Claire and Cal knew that they would eventually be in a better spot, so they stayed patient and tried to enjoy the moment as part of a larger process.

As a result of being abandoned for such a long time, the manor had become a home for a variety of bugs and other animals. Everywhere they looked, Claire and Cal were faced with different crawling insects. Although these didn’t cause too many problems, the crows that had moved into the manor for shelter were a major issue. It would take a lot of work to relocate them, but luckily the pair was up for the challenge.
