Anyone who has ever seen a diamond could tell you that they sparkle like nothing else. This stone was rather cloudy and dull, seeming almost like plastic, convincing its owner that it was worthless. The more experienced eye of a jeweler, however, would bring a new sparkle on the stone. But would Debra ever even consider taking it for professional consideration, given how long ago she had purchased it? What was in store for the mysterious ring?

One rather tragic event would prompt Debra to embark on some creative financial ventures. Debra’s mom had recently lost a lot of money to fraud, something that put them both through a bit of a difficult time. Debra decided to go pawn some of her old stuff to see what she could get for them. She brought in the ‘glass’ junk jewelry. On seeing it, the jeweler suggested an appraisal immediately, suggesting it could be an authentic diamond.
