Candice was so moved by what Adam had promised to do – arriving at her place to repair her truck – that she knew she had to do something in return. She began cooking up a small scheme that would ensure the big man with a big heart would leave her garage properly compensated. Candice got to work making the appropriate phone calls. Adam was bound to be blown away when he obliviously stepped into Candice’s garage!

As Adam casually strolled into Candice’s garage, he was ambushed by a film crew from a nearby news station, backed up by some of Pay It Forward’s representatives. Adam’s jaw dropped – he didn’t know what was happening. The next minutes, he was being handed a $400 check. Candice had nominated Adam as the local hero of their area, and he was being rewarded accordingly. Adam was lost for words. He thought that this was going to be a simple repair job!
