The dog finally seemed to have developed a bit of trust for Loreta, and if not trust, then was finally giving up the lengthy fight. As she calmed down, Loreta was able to get the snare gently around her neck and pull her to safety in her arms. The dog was cowering and still a bit jittery, but that was understandable. They now had to get her to safety at a vet for a check-up.
