Olives may not be everyone’s favorite pizza topping, but perhaps they would be more popular if we all knew just how great they are for supporting heart health. Basically, just think olive-oil. This strong-tasting food is packed with monounsaturated fat, beneficial antioxidants, and various nutrients that can encourage weight loss and fight high cholesterol!
While you might be tempted to fry your food in just olive-oil, remember that it does not burn hot enough to properly cook many foods. Still, you can bake almost any vegetable with olive oil.
