He explained the horrific surprises that sometimes lay waiting for him inside mailboxes, such as yellowjacket wasp nests! A painful and potentially serious sting from one of these little devils is no laughing matter. Sometimes, these nests will be right at the back of the mailbox, according to Strickley. If dryer sheets had even the smallest chance of repelling yellowjackets, you can bet we would keep plenty of dryer sheet packs at home!
