Heidi even took it upon herself to decorate the room to her own individual style, which truly gave her the sense that she was in her happy place. Now that she had so much more freedom and space, she knew that she could truly be herself, without being bothered. This was a change from what she had been used to living with a group of people, and much better suited to her somewhat introverted personality.

The Unexpected Call
In the first few days of being in the new apartment, Heidi received a call. She was asked about some of the logistics of the previous apartment by the person on the line, who was clearly one of the new tenants. Heidi was surprised to have been called, given that she had only lived there for a while. They hadn’t been able to reach the landlord, so she was the next best option to speak to.
