Having been a fan of coincidences before, she was now more open-minded to the universe having a bigger plan for all of us than we could control. They simultaneously realized that they had shared time together before, and in a way, it strengthened their bond beyond what had already formed over the four years that they were together. They had decided to use a historic location for the big day because they had a long history between the two of them too. There couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for the two of them to tie the knot. As you can see from the picture, it was a magical occasion that was like something out of an Ancient Greek tale.

Over 100 people attended the nuptials, showing their support for the pair and giving their blessing for a long and happy marriage. The reception was a huge bash, with guests having an amazing time dancing the night away. There was clearly a lot of love in the room that night! Many people were even more impressed with the wedding when they learned about its incredible background! Have you ever seen a happier couple than this one?

The newlyweds danced up a storm under a sea of lights, even switching things up at one stage to invite everyone to enjoy the pool party portion of the evening. This was not a traditional wedding, but then again, neither is their story. It was a night to remember for everyone involved. After twenty years since they met in Turkey, the parents also got the chance to reconnect and recall the first time they had spent time together. Nowadays, both families like to plan holidays together, getting everyone together as often as they are able to. Heidi has two sisters, and Ed has a brother and two sisters. Everyone had initially met back in 1997, but some reintroductions were in order. They often reminisce about the first holiday, and how far everyone has come since then. As you can see, they adorably reproduced their old pictures! They do not look that different, don’t you think?

Kay likes to remind everyone that it was a family holiday they had been on, and it wasn’t just the time she met Ed. It was also a time for all the siblings to have met each other, so it’s an even more special memory if you keep that in mind. There were far more people involved than just the star-crossed couple in this sensational meeting! The world is small, and nobody from this big family forgets this fact.

At the time of finding out that they had met before, the couple had been together for four years. Heidi often ponders what would have happened had they never found out. It would’ve been startling to discover this later down the line. Thankfully, they found out at the perfect moment. They were given all the time that they needed to grow into comfortable, confident, and loving individuals before being reunited. There are so many different ways to make love work, and this is one of them.

Ed and Heidi often talk about what would have happened had they never found out about this. They certainly would not have felt as strong a bond as they did the day they walked down the aisle that August. A lot of friends still recall that their story is a bit like a movie, indicating that it must be fate that they are in each other’s lives. Then again, there are many perfectly happy people who met under completely mundane circumstances.

It gives us great joy to report that the couple is doing well, and have been happily married for a few years. These days, they also take trips and holidays of their own. They haven’t been back to Turkey yet, but they are planning on doing so at some point. This would be their own special pilgrimage to the place where it all began. If ever there was a relationship that was going to stand the test of time, surely it is this one.

All this time later, Ed is still very happy running his own coffee shop in the heart of London. Locals say his coffee is delicious and the secret to his good work ethic is no doubt the love and support from his wife and family. He hopes to open more shops around the country very soon. You can be sure that many of his customers will hope to have the same romantic wonder that he and his wife did!

Fur Babies
You’d think that these two couldn’t do anything else to be more suited for each other, but recently Heidi shared a photo of Ed with a puppy and a cat. It seems they also have some fur babies that they are raising now. Nothing beats a pair of animal lovers! There’s even talk about the two of them expanding their family in other ways soon. We wonder what kind of romantic drama their family will enjoy next?

On their two-year anniversary, Heidi shared a photo online referencing that Ed is still the best husband in the world. The couple that jokes together, stays together!
