The two people began talking in a friendly but practical manner, merely wanting to resolve the issues. As luck would have it, the matter they called about was not able to be resolved over the phone. The guy still had some questions, so she agreed to meet with him that evening to help explain everything in more detail as a personal favor. It turns out that the person she was talking to on the phone was actually the man she met while exchanging keys when she left her previous apartment. It turns out he had gotten her number from the fridge, where it had been stuck up for emergencies when Heidi lived with her roommates. Not thinking too much of it, but still a little cautious to be going back to the old space, Heidi left to go meet with him.
