Brodie felt afraid that the line was going to snap and concerned for his new rod, he tried to pull it up gently. But nothing could prepare him for what he was about to pull out of the water. Brodie pulled up what looked to be a bag from the water, he unzipped it, with a moment of shock when he saw the contents. Realizing his find, he immediately called his uncle, to show him what he had gotten his hands on.

The Secret Item in the Purse
It was a quite unique looking leather purse! Both Ben and Brodie were so surprised! When he touched the purse for the first time, he realized that it must have been very old. It was hard to say exactly how long it had been in the water, although one item hidden between the contents of the bag helped to get him closer to knowing when the bag had last been used.
