Richard expected it all to be a mundane checkup with his physician. He was completely in the dark regarding the life-changing encounter to come. He would learn that mundanity was the last thing on the list. While many people will feel apprehensive to go for a medical checkup, fearing that their suspected health issues will be confirmed by the relevant medical professional, Richard did not think much as he entered his doctor’s office for what he expected would be an ordinary visit.

An Almost Infallible Report
Richard was in a good mood as he greeted the doctor and sat down to talk about his health and general state. The physician carried out various checks, the type that men around his age will generally need doing every now and then. Richard was under the impression that he was in fine health, not about to discover something depressing. Regardless, calamity hit when the doctor produced some trouble results: Richard was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.
