The boys seemed unaffected by all of the emotional outpours that Emma and Richard had brought on them. No matter how many times the public fell to their knees on live television begging for forgiveness and sympathy, the boys continued to keep their backs turned to them. A long time had passed, and it seemed that little was going to change in the family. The congenital illness, cystic fibrosis, mostly attacks the digestive system and respiratory system.

Mucus then begins filling the lungs, as well as in other organs. Further conditions can then arise, such as diabetes and liver diseases. Sadly, so many people have lost their lives prematurely to the still incurable illness. There are some terrible ways to lose your life in this world, but the slow and painful decay that one experiences with cystic fibrosis is certainly among the worst. The disease has a high fatality rate, and many people with it are lucky to survive.
