Richard insisted that he was in the right, that he loved his sons and that he would always let them back in, and that they could all spend time together and have a good relationship. He wanted them to fix their connections and get everything back to normal. It was all good and noble for Richard to make another emotional public statement, but this might not have been the most prudent way to win back his sons’ affections.
