Children are vulnerable, and it is the actions and behavior of teachers, parents, and other adults alike that will help to mold who they become a few years down the line. After the school heard about the matter, they gave their word to Chris that they would do something. This message led Chris to make an update on his Facebook post saying, “Thanks to all the efforts and support of the dedicated people who signed and shared this petition, I’m happy to announce that the Valley View school board is currently investigating the teacher in question.”

Investigation Launched
The school’s superintendent Rose Minniti was aware of the issue and the comments left on the child’s paper. After a brief meeting with school administrators, she concluded an investigation would commence. The situation was finally being appropriately handled, and the right people were looking into it. Chris was relieved that after all this time, his child’s need for justice was finally being taken seriously. But would anything come out of this, or would it just be another false hope for the family?
