Samantha went on to describe how strangers on the street knew who she was while on patrol. Although she did her best to separate her professional life from her social media one, dressing in a plain fashion without much makeup, Samantha’s fame was too large to disguise. It turned out that being the center of attention was the norm for this officer. There was one case where a hospital patient singled her out excitedly as the “hot model police officer”.

Samantha turned red with embarrassment as she just shook the comment off. She had never dreamed that she would become a local celebrity with what began as a pleasant way to express herself. To this day, she still struggles to cope with the fame and attention. A large part of being a successful police officer is discretion and not attracting too much attention, which had become increasingly difficult for Samantha. Not that she doesn’t appreciate the overwhelming support, however.
