The jeweler was an expert, and knew this ring better than Lydia could ever have expected. He began revealing all manner of details on the ring that proved that it could not have been found in the time that Sara had claimed. While the jeweler was telling what he believed to be the real tale of the ring, he suddenly fell quiet and his eyes began popping in shock. He darted off and fetched something from the store.

The jeweler dashed off to the area in the back and produced a tiny and dusty book. It turned out to be a historical catalog of the shop’s inventory, all the way back to 1968. The jeweler began paging through the catalog excitedly, running his finger down a few pages until he found exactly what he was looking for. He kept his finger on some important detail as he turned the swiveled the catalog around to show Lydia, who soon mirrored the jeweler’s shock as her eyes fell on that revealing detail.
