Slow to Victory But it is Sure
The cheeseburger didn’t do anything at first, but after a while, the dog started to slow on crying and had a piece of the burger but still not coming out. The dog was clearly starved, and probably had not eaten well in a long time, but its natural instincts stopped it from giving in completely to the mouthwatering treat. Amidst this happening, Loreta was still worried about the dog being in such a panicked and painful state.

No one knew where the dog came from or what her history was leading to being here. As such, Loreta had to be careful, she wouldn’t attack out of fear, and though she was concerned about saving the pup, she was also focusing on her safety. As you can see from the picture, this dog was completely terrified, and did not seem capable of attacking the humans that it was so terrified of. That face of misery and fear is haunting.
