Unidentified Racket
The inhabitants of the house tried to identify the source and cause of the strange sounds they had all been hearing but they could not. It was not the normal house sounds one hears all the time such as doors and floors creaking.

What made it even more strange and difficult to identify, was the fact that it seemed as if the sound actually moved around the house, making it even more impossible to pin down the location of the sounds, even after hours of searching and listening carefully.
The situation was about to get more serious.
Never Ending Annoyance
From hearing the strange sound only occasionally in the beginning, the family started hearing it practically all the time, round-the-clock strange noises and spread out across the house. This was getting beyond strange now, it was worrying. They could not ignore it and they were determined to find out what it was.
