The Plot Thickens
They held their breaths as Rick’s shaking hands grasped the clasps. With a stiff click, they came undone, and Rick creaked the suitcase open. They were greeted with a large collection of what looked like stacks of paper, but they could not be sure, as each bundle was wrapped in opaque wax paper. If there was anything written on these documents or bills, they would not be able to tell until they tore the wax paper off.

After some discussion about what to do going forward, the couple decided that they were entitled to establish what the suitcase’s contents were. After all, this was their property, and they felt like this suitcase and its contents now belonged to them. The couple decided to unseal one of the wax paper packages. It was stuffed with dollar bills. The suitcase had been crammed with more money than either of them could have hoped to earn in a few lifetimes.
