The coworker informed him that he only continued to hear these peculiar noises at night. Because they had set up camp so near to the river, their companion believed that the noises must have originated from the river itself. But he was completely baffled as to what they were. Jason was curious as to what it might be, but his colleague didn’t seem bothered about it and proceeded to camp there anyhow. So Jason decided to let this one go.

Jason made the decision not to inform his family about the noises because, despite the fact that he was concerned about them, he was adamant on going, and he was afraid that his wife Macy would disapprove of the trip if she knew about the sounds. On the other hand, it can’t be so terrible, can it? They were just a few noises, so it would be easy for them to ignore them and continue enjoying their weekend. He believed it to be the case.
