Lit By The Sun
He spotted a piece of the brown and orange bag reflected in one of the sun’s beams, and there it was. They had to do some paddling upstream to get where they needed to go. Which ended up being a war that was waged with much difficulty. Macy reached out and grabbed the bag with one of the paddles, and then she brought it up onto the front of the canoe. She had the impression that this bag was impervious to water.

After reversing course and paddling to the other bank of the river, they pulled the canoe up onto the bank and drained the water from it. They came to a halt for a little amount of time, and the noise that had been emanating from the bag ceased for the time being. Macy contemplated the many scenarios that may account for the contents of the bag. She couldn’t help but wonder if it was anything living or not, and she couldn’t stop thinking about it.
