After being startled only once, Macy and their kids were able to stay asleep for the rest of the night despite the noises that continued to come and go throughout the night. It was clear that the day had taken a toll on them, as they exhibited apparent signs of fatigue. On the other hand, Jason had trouble sleeping. He was plagued by the reoccurrence of those noises, which he heard again. And he couldn’t help but think if he should’ve paid a little more attention to what his colleague had to say.

If there was anything out there that may put his family in harm’s way and he brought them here after being told about it, he’d find it hard to forgive himself for doing such a thing. These were the ideas that kept him up all night long. It was imperative that he be alert in the event that whatever it was approached him.
