An Inseperable Bond
The holiday “romance” would mean they were inseparable during the course of the trip. When the trip ended however, they didn’t keep in touch or ever see each other again. The young lovebirds would always have some memories of the trip, remembering it fondly for being each other’s first loves. It was such a short ‘romance’, but it was more meaningful than most of the relationships that these two youngsters would enjoy for many years to come.

Another Ed?
Fiona was intrigued by the story for one part in particular, namely that the little boy in the story was also called Ed. Kay thought that was interesting, but didn’t think too much of it. Had Heidi already had a boyfriend called Ed, or was this the same person? It certainly seemed like a phenomenal coincidence, but there seemed to be little way to prove whether this couple had met when they were far younger.
