A user who goes by the name “Hammerraptor” shared how he once worked for the local fire department as an EMT/FF. It was at the scene of one car accident that they parked the fire truck and ambulance in close range. One rookie officer came along and had a major problem with where the ambulance was parked. Without any instructions, he took it upon himself to move the ambulance about 150-200 feet away from the scene. Can you imagine being an EMT and having your most essential resource moved minutes away from a dire accident?

A Firefighter-Cop Story
The chief, a 55-year-old female, started an altercation with the junior cop on the scene. It was a complete mess, and she had to be pulled away from the bold officer. There was endless screaming and shouting, and the chief of police had to come to the scene within a few minutes. Luckily, the victim was fine, so at least no one suffered on account of a few emergency personnel members squabbling. The police department apparently decided to get dinner for the fire department that night, and no one was punished for their actions.
