The offended deputy was practically new to the job and was only a few weeks into the new position. But already, he was behaving like an immature rookie who possessed a cocky and “over-the-top” attitude. Ironically, he acted as if he was a member of the brass and was the only one slated to give instructions, refusing to listen to anyone. Apparently, he was exploiting his little title as though he ran the place and should be responsible for giving all the orders. But there was yet another funny secret to be revealed.

The terms on which the cab driver had moved the car were apparently wrong, and there was absolutely no rule in the books that stated the car could be removed in such a manner. There was no need to have paid that money to the cab driver. Regardless of the cost, this was an invaluable lesson that this officer had learned, and hopefully, he would also reach out to his superiors for a little guidance. After all, police officers are not exempt from the law. So, with everything that happened, where was Troy in the midst of all this?
