The Warhol M1 Is Priceless
How much would you pay for the chance to drive a BMW that Andy Warhol painted by hand? But you probably won’t ever be able to move around town in an M1 like he does unless you have a lot of money. In 1977, BMW asked Andy Warhol to design and make an “Art Automobile.” Other painters might have thought the car was a great canvas, but it took Warhol no more than 24 minutes to paint it.

By the time the media got to the store where Warhol was painting, they had already missed his work. “Should I paint another car?” was the question he asked. The person who owned a BMW said, “Over my dead body.” He probably feels terrible that he didn’t let Andy Warhol turn his car into a beautiful piece of art on that particular day.
The 1966 Motorcycle Accident That Might Not Have Happened To Bob Dylan
1966 might or might not have been when something strange happened to Bob Dylan. He said he was riding his Triumph Tiger 100 motorcycle and had a bad accident on a back road near Woodstock, New York, while he was there. After the accident, he found out that he had broken a lot of vertebrae in his neck and that the care he got from the local doctors was the only reason he was still alive. The problem is that there is no proof that singer-songwriter Bob Dylan was ever admitted to a hospital, and there is also no record of an ambulance being sent to pick him up.

People often think that Dylan faked the accident so he could take some time off from touring, but no one has ever been able to show proof that this is true. Dylan wrote in his biography that he was glad to get some time off from his busy schedule, even though he had been in an accident. He wrote this in his essay: “I had been hurt in a motorcycle accident, but I got better. The truth was that I wanted to get out of the rat race.”
