Betty White – Pekingese
Betty White is a huge fan of dogs and in addition to her Golden Retriever, Pontiac, she also had a Pekingese Bandit. The dog was pretty cute and she noted he spent most of his time sleeping as he was an elderly dog. Her love for dogs goes a far way and this led her to write a biography about life with her dogs. She gave her book the title, “Description of Betty and Friends: My Life at the Zoo” and details everything about her many activities with her furry friends. White considers herself blessed to have spent her life with so many animals and to say the least…she included Pontiac, the Golden Retriever in her will for $5 million as a trust fund.

Maria Elena Salinas – Bichon Frise
Maria Elena Salinas is one of the most popular journalists and news anchors on Spanish television (Spanish-language media for that matter!) Aside from her job, she enjoys everything about being a dog mommy and when she lost her furry friend, Ricky, it was quite devastating for her. Her daughters, too, certainly miss the amazing relationship they formed. The dog breed is known to be quite friendly, small, and always up to some little mischief. Their features – heavy fur and black beady eyes – make them look like a toy and compliments their friendly attitude. A lot of people often mistake them for white poodles but the difference is relatively evident.
