Humphrey Bogart – Newfoundland

The whole world knows how much Humphrey Bogart loves Boxers but, interestingly, his love for the animal extends to other breeds as well. It could be love at first sight when Bogart first saw the Newfoundland, he named Cappy. He connected with the dog right away and his family soon followed and fell in love with the furry guy as well. Newfoundlands are pretty huge dogs that feature a strong physique and can conquer just about any job whether it be on land or water. They are also great at swimming and can fit into just about any family, especially due to their fast responsiveness. To add to their many positive attributes, this dog breed can be really patient…meaning they are great to work with kids. After all, Bogart’s children, Leslie and Stevie bonded with Cappy in a great way.
