Whitney Cummings is a famous comedian, podcaster, actress, and filmmaker who has done well for herself in terms of achieving lots of awards and television credit in the comedy genre. But, aside from her skills on the stage, Cummings is known for her love for animals and her passion for always fighting for their rights and wellbeing. She owns a pet Shar Pei she calls Violet, who is a rescue – like most of the other animals she owns. The rescued Shar-Pei had to be nursed back to its best health and Cummings dedicated her life to doing this. This dog breed is known to be a fighter in getting better whenever it is weak as many people regard them as a fighter dog. However, they can be social if they need to be.

Ricki Lake, the Masked Singer star rescued her pet who is a Shih Poo who later became her companion and best friend. The pup was always there when Lake needed some company to push forward. Lake has always been grateful to her dog, especially after losing her husband back in 2017. The Shih Poo, which is a mix between a Poodle and a Shih Tzu are great companions no matter the age group they get associated with – especially with seniors. Shih Poos are versatile dogs that love being pampered and can survive in every environment. They always steal the show whenever they are present on the scene.
