Valerie was not going to sit around and pray that the situation would resolve itself. She headed off to the hospital to get some tests done. Once they were completed, all that she could do was sit and wait for the results as her mind filled with negativity.

Valerie did her best to steady her breathing and ground herself. She told herself that all would be well. Despite her bravery and optimism, Valerie was in for every expecting mother’s worst nightmare.
Broken Hearted
Valerie continued to wait as the doctors carried on with their checks and scans on her developing fetus. The poor woman was racked with nerves to the point that she felt ill. All that she could do was pray that her child was in good hands.

After what felt like an eternity, the doctors finally came to Valerie with the results. They theorized that her umbilical cord had been compressed within the womb, blocking off the essential oxygen and nutrients that her fetus needed. Valerie’s baby had tragically passed away.
