The young monkey quickly became attached to the kittens, spending almost all their awake time together. It was quickly seen that Horace and the kittens had a lot in common, even though they were not the same species or the same size.

After meeting for the first time, the monkey and his cat friends found a lot in common and started to play and rest together. When Horace and his furry friends were together, they brought out the best in each other, making everyone melt when they cuddled.

If Horace had been reared in a different shelter, he probably wouldn’t get along with as many different animals as he does now. However, operations are not conducted in such a manner at the Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary. In this tight-knit society, humans and animals look out for and support each other.

Volunteers are hard to come by, even though Twala is always overrun with stray and abandoned animals yearning for new homes. With this, they decided to rear all of their animals in the same area. Along the process, several of them wound up building close relationships with one another.
