Throughout the years, the Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary has helped a lot of animals in need, but none of them have been like Horace. They let animals like cats, dogs, birds, and even lions and antelopes into their sanctuary, but back then, no monkeys lived there.

Horace was finally safe, but since his human caretakers were the only ones who spent time with him, he started to feel lonely. As soon as another animal came near the baby monkey, everything changed. It was clear that they would be best friends for the rest of their lives.

Didn’t Know How To React At First

The first few minutes Horace spent at the Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary were scary for him because he was suddenly surrounded by many animals he had never seen before. This baby monkey was learning about everything for the first time, and he didn’t know what to do. Horace wasn’t the only young animal at the refuge to feel this way. A lot of the other young animals there felt the same way.
