Horace The Good Example

Horace became an essential piece of the Twala family after he had been there for such a significant amount of time. In terms of social skills and the ability to negotiate the complicated world in which we live today, he served as an excellent example for his younger families to look up to and emulate. Sarah Carter thought that it was incredible that Horace could get along with such a diverse range of species of animals.

In an interview with LittleThings, Carter shared his thoughts on the subject as follows: “Horace makes us smile every day. He reminds us to keep our mission and vision accomplished at Twala. A rescued animal such as him is a great example of how to make the most of your second chance.”

Baby Monkey Named Avni

The Twala Trust Animal Sanctuary is not the only organization of its kind where a friendly monkey is used both for money and as a volunteer. Peepal Farm, a charity in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, is another group that fits this description and deserves to be mentioned here.

Robin Singh and Joellen Anderson made this place a safe place for all kinds of animals in 2014. Since then, they have been able to save more than 600 animals from the area around them. A young, cute monkey who was traveling with them at the time was named Avni. When she hurt herself and couldn’t keep up with the rest of her family, they left her behind and moved on. They thought that she would be better off staying in the same place.
