A Brilliant Child
Though the teacher’s feedback was negative, some persons saw good in it. Rose admitted Kamdyn was brilliant to have answered 13 questions in 3 minutes, seeing he was only a second-grader. This point, many persons noted she could have used to say something encouraging. Teachers should focus on the positives of a child’s performances, rather than attacking them on the areas that they need help with. Kids grow with positivity and encouragement and wither from negativity.
Never Put Down A Child
Erona, another parent, voiced her concerns and noted Bohenek should never continue as a teacher as she was too harsh.. It is never okay to put down anyone and a child for that matter. Many people feel like teachers only have one chance to prove themselves as competent and appropriately placed professionals. When they cross the line, there is no turning back, and they should be let go from their position and find something else to do that does not involve children.
