Customer service is a difficult job in general. However, it takes on a whole other degree of uncertainty when you consider that you are handling someone’s meal. Why? Because individuals may be very picky when it comes to the food they consume. And on top of that, you never know what has gone through their respective days. There are generous folks among us, yet even the most giving people have terrible days. People may be unpleasant when they are having a terrible day or are in a difficult circumstance, and this can manifest itself in the tip they leave, or the lack thereof.
