It is also worth noting that Schneider and Burkett are not the first or only people to stumble across such a weird, altered creature. In May of this year, a three-eyed snake that lives in the Australian bush rose to viral popularity after being discovered on a roadway earlier. It was tragically revealed afterwards that the creature had died only a few weeks later, probably due to its deformities.
