Claire talked about how the changes they had made had been well worth the effort, even though they were feeling a little tired from all the long hours. She discussed that the improvements were coming along nicely, and as a result they now had more space to hang out. At the beginning of the build, their options had been severely limited, so they didn’t have many choices. The space was slowly starting to turn into the home that they had always dreamed of.

Figuring out how far along they were in the process was always going to be a challenge, especially as new things were popping up nearly every single day. It’s important to retain perspective during a massive renovation like this one, but this would require taking a step back and getting an outsider perspective on what they had done, and how far they still had to go in order to complete this incredible and extraordinary project.
