He hoped the teams’ findings would lead to them to identifying the deceased. This was no easy or straightforward task for the crew, however, as it still meant poring over seemingly endless reams of information. Whilst his team poured over the cold case files back home, Yen traveled to Sullivan County to conduct a personal investigation. He planned to do local searches in an attempt to identify the woman. Although the missing person database was an incredibly powerful and far-reaching resource, nothing beat a good old-fashioned hands-on investigation, where Yen could directly and physically investigate all the leads that previously gone nowhere. Picking up where the detectives had left off all those years ago would take some time, however.
