The two-story property features 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms (one with a huge walk-in shower room, and another with an old school bathtub), an office, a home theatre, an open kitchen, a walk-in closet, a breakfast bar, a dining room, and not forgetting, the functioning fireplace! And the Obamas ‘downsized’ in style, settling on a mansion in the prestigious neighborhood of Kalorama, where in fact, quite a number of former presidents and ambassadors have chosen to live in these old but charming properties. By no means small at 8,200 square feet, their new home has five bedrooms, large windows, and built-in fireplaces.
