Christopher’s gut told him something was wrong and he made his way through the mine as fast as he could. Despite his intense curiosity and need to know, his instincts led him back out the mine in a hasty manner.

Christopher felt he should have known that searching through an abandoned gold mine would not be a great decision. As miners would not abandon untouched gold for a simple reason, there must have been a concerning reason as to why the gold lay untouched for so many years.
