Christopher knew he needed to find out more about what actually happened on his property all those years ago. He realized that he may find gold and that he may also find the reason the mine was abandoned, the latter being quite a concerning and sinister realization.

Muddy Mine
He recalled that he was previously able to make it roughly 150 feet down the tunnel. However, this time he was determined to venture even further until he found what it was that he was looking for. He was determined to continue his surreal investigation regardless of the potential dangers. When he was roughly 600 feet down the tunnel, he finally found where the source of water was that caused the mine to be so damp and muddy. He had found a very strange and questionable door.
