She’s seen firsthand how cranky kids can be when they’re famished, overtired, cranky, joyful, scared, or even bewildered. The end of her shift was nigh regardless. Moreover, there were plenty of extra workers available to assist with the constant movement of patrons and tables. But how would her boss feel about her taking time off?

“When you’re here at Olive Garden, you’re a member of the family,” is the company’s motto. If all that was required of me was to take a seat and a few minutes out of my day to assist this young woman with her child, I would gladly do it on a daily basis if I had the opportunity. Additionally, Nianni’s efforts have not been overlooked in any way.
