Don’t use chevron patterns in your living room, as this creates a space that looks too busy and complicated. Rather, go for a less combusted style that will complement and bring that level of peace to your room. Let your guests feel welcome when they step inside. A room is supposed to make a person feel calm and welcome, rather than on edge. Harsh, zig-zag patterns like the one seen in the pictured rug are a big no-no.

For those who think an all-white living room is a beautiful thing, you must have spent a lot of time in the hospital and want to continue in that environment. If you want to go simple, you can still do that by adding a dash of color here and there. This washed-out, sanitary look might make everything seem incredibly clean, but you will lose too much aesthetic goodness as a result. Bring the rainbow back into your life!
