Color-changing lights are best for the nightclub and not your living room. We want to come over and relax and not be in a disco room with annoying lights changing every minute. Then again, you might be a serious gamer or streamer, and that is part of the overall ‘elite gamer’ aesthetic. Folks such as these will have an incredibly gaudy color-changing light setup. To avoid falling into this garish pitfall, stick to soft, amber light.

If you own a tapestry, you may want to keep it in your bedroom and not in the living room. It makes the space too busy and has this outdated look though you may want to consider it boho-chic. Hippies, spiritual types, and those that want to change their living rooms into yoga studios will have all manner of funky tapestries hanging about the place. Unless you want everyone to know that you worship crystals, consider changing things up more conventionally.
