Love Struck
Within two weeks of being rescued, another potential rescuer came in to find a dog to love. Loreta took them to a rescue shelter to show them another dog who needed love and attention, but Rain was the center of a “love at first sight” experience. How could anyone resist Rain’s enormous puppy eyes and incredibly expressive face? She was such a good-natured and friendly animal that just wanted to make people happy. The rescuer, Allison Dunbar, wanted to go home with Rain.

Being rescued by Allison would mean Rain would go into a home where the family loved dogs with a passion. This was what Rain was truly longing for, and this may just have been the best day of her life since her previous experiences. As much as she had loved her time at the rescue shelter, and would always be incredibly grateful to them for saving her life, she needed a proper home with a garden and plenty of space.
