Traveling to a hotel during one of those busy seasons will leave you dealing with a lot of noise. When the walls are too thin, you will hear just about every conversation on the other side. You may not be able to switch rooms at that point, so the only option will be to try and keep the noise out. Grab an extra towel and tuck it in the open spaces at the doors, this will help a lot.

Traveling, especially with kids, may mean you have to wash a few pieces of clothes to cover for the additional time you are there. However, laundry services at hotels can be rather pricey and so too laundromats in the area. As such, stopping the drainage in your sink will allow you to do some washing in your room. This is a quick and easy clean. Drying? Hang it in your bathroom, especially while the steam is on.
